Hey there, I'm Hannah.

I began to seriously study and practice art in college at Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois. Originally intending to pursue a career in fashion design, I discovered the joy of photography. It quickly became my favorite of all the mediums of expression and, as a result, became my new major as well. To advance my education in photography, I transferred to Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, immersing myself in a challenging and stimulating visual arts program. In 2010, I had attained my degree, a grant, and an eager eye – thirsty to capture new and compelling stories. 

 

After years of traveling and photographing, I decided to bring my skills back to my hometown of Bloomington, Illinois. Shortly thereafter, I had the unparalleled opportunity to work for and learn from one of central Illinois' premiere wedding photographers. For nearly three years, I lived and breathed wedding photography, assisting in shooting and processing over sixty weddings, including traditional Christian, Hindu, and Persian ceremonies. Through his mentorship, I learned the vast majority of technical skills, not to mention hands-on experience, I now utilize within my own photography business.

 

I strive to capture those beautiful, candid moments between you and your loved ones – those instances that are uniquely and forever yours. It gives me such joy to be a part of their preservation!
